The theme for Electric Zoo in 2022 was "3.0", a nod to an upgraded version of the festival, with the visual identity being driven by visual references to a technologically-powered meta-reality. We developed a "solarpunk"/utopian image of an imagined future New York City, and combined this with nods to cyberpunk aesthetics, retro video game graphic environments, and colorful anthropomorpic characters in a mix of 2D and 3D.
